Houston 3D ultrasound is a procedure in which ultrasound technology is used to generate a three dimensional image of the baby. Unlike a conventional 2D ultrasound which every mother receives for diagnostic purposes during the course of her pregnancy, a Houston 3D ultrasound allows for a three-dimensional image of the baby to be displayed. It does this be reflecting more sound waves in order to provide a much more detailed picture.
